Coordinating Collective

The Coordinating Collective serves as the “Board of Directors” of the movement. It is an elected committee with the overall responsibilities for the oversight and governance of the coordination and implementation of the Movement’s strategies, plans and activities. Members are elected directly every 2 years by and are accountable to the registered members of the movement.
Milouda Bouichou (co-chair)
Data Scientist
holds a PhD in Mathematics and an Engineering degree in Statistics and Applied Economics. With seven years of experience in Artificial Intelligence research and development, they have honed their skills in this field. Currently, they serve as a public servant in a Digital Development Agency and work in various social areas such as media and information literacy, universal access to digital technology, cyberpeace, digital human rights, and youth engagement.

Great strength in project management that include exploring human potentialities and uplifting talented people. A team builder dedicated to motivate, coach, and mentor strong profiles to reach the sky within multicultural and multidisciplinary settings. Nalucha Nganga
Development practitioner
Nalucha is Development practitioner with 15 years’ experience in non-profit development work including program development, strategic planning, fundraising, project management, financial management, and donor management. She holds a Masters in Constitutional and Administrative law and a masters in Communications for Development and Bachelor of Arts with a specialisation in History and English from the University of Zambia.
Charles VanDyck
Head, Capacity Development WACSI
Charles Kojo Vandyck is a social justice activist and thought leader with expertise in strengthening civil society resilience, sustainability, and leadership. Charles currently serves as the Head, Capacity Development Unit at the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI). He also serves as a member of the Knowledge Network of the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa. Charles is also a Founding Member of the International Consortium on Closing Civic Space (iCon), an initiative of the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He currently serves as a member of the Governing Board of Africans Rising and a Trustee of INTRAC based in Oxford, UK. He is a Core Team Member, of the Reimagining INGOs (RINGO) systems change initiative. Charles is a certified Change the Game Academy Master Trainer and an IFC- Learning and Performance Institute Trainer.
Catherine Rodgers
Green Peace
Catherine is a passionate African feminist who works with young people across the continent to support their leadership in creating just, equitable and sustainable societies. As the Hub Director for Restless Development Uganda, she leads on Board management, strategic planning, fundraising and finance, legal and risk management as well as overseeing the Advocacy and Programmes. Previously, Catherine worked for ActionAid International as the Youth Engagement Advisor, supporting 50 countries across Africa, Asia, Americas and Europe. Catherine gave a strategic advisory to ActionAid International’s youth campaigning network, Activista, supporting countries to build their national youth networks and to support on programming and policy.

Deji Adeyanju
Convener of Concerned Nigerians
Comrade Deji Adeyanju is one of the leading human rights defenders in Nigeria. Ex student unionist, activist extraordinary who has been jailed severally by the government in Nigeria and also attacked by government sponsored thugs. He is the Convener of CONCERNED NIGERIANS- a civil rights movement group in Nigeria and also the Chair of Centre for Liberty organization in Nigeria. He has friends and a wide range of network among activists and influencers on the continent.
Cidia Chissungu
Human Rights Activist
Cidia was one of the earliest leaders of Activista Mozambique; thanks to her diligent work, Cidia mobilised activists in Maputo, Marracuene, Manhiça and other provinces, making Activista the largest youth advocacy network in Mozambique. Cídia launched the Black Civilization in August 2018; a movement pledging to promote solidarity among African people through concrete actions. She is a motivational speaks and runs professional development workshops for young university students.
