African Liberation Week
2025

Building on eight years of massive and consistent mobilisations, the 2025 African Liberation Week will be a milestone in fostering Pan-African solidarity.

African Liberation Week will be observed from 19th  May 2025 to 25th May 2025.

This year, we aim to continue amplifying the movement for a Borderless Africa, rallying Africans to advocate for free movement across the continent. Through partnerships, community actions, and targeted campaigns, we will showcase the power of collective action in shaping Africa’s future.

This collaboration will ensure partners and members of Africans Rising will work together to plan various activities that will engage the grassroots and provide support for volunteers who will be organising various activities during the week.

In 2025, we aim to expand our legacy by driving systemic change through strategic alliances, grassroots mobilizations, and cross-border advocacy.

The expected outcomes from the year’s mobilisation include:

  • Strong partnerships and alliances with key stakeholders.
  • Increased awareness and interest through early registrations and volunteer sign-ups.
  • Organise multiple orientation meetings
  • Support ALW events in diverse ways
  • Publish a map to showcase events and their locations
